GREG MANSFIELD
LOUISBURG, KS
Greg Mansfield is the owner of GM Outdoors and also an angler on The Sickness Outdoors team. He has a huge passion for the sport of business and bass fishing. Greg has been married for 17 years to his wife Kelly and they share two young boys, William and Thomas. Upon graduation with a business degree from the University of Kansas, Greg moved to Minnesota where he has owned and operated City Wide Maintenance of Minnesota for 14 years. Throughout his time at City Wide, Greg has helped and grow the company to over 16 million dollars in sales from scratch. As a business owner, he has a unique perspective into the challenges that organizations face in growing their brand in today’s crowded world and is passionate about helping our partner business grow through targeted marketing with The Sickness Outdoors.
Greg started The Sickness Outdoors because he saw two needs in the marketplace. The first was that companies have a hard time meeting their branding and marketing goals in an increasingly crowded and noisy marketplace. Secondly, he saw a big need for a team-based fishing organization in tournament bass fishing, similar to those in other sports such as NASCAR. The Sickness Outdoors has a solution to provide very targeted marketing to a large captive audience, while supporting the sport we love, in one of the largest outdoor industries in the United States.

JOEL WILLERT
Prior Lake, MN
Joel Willert is the owner of Joel Willert Fishing and an angler on The Sickness Outdoors team. He has been competing in bass fishing tournaments since he was in high school. Joel grew up in a small, rural town in northern Wisconsin and was exposed to the outdoors at a very young age. His love for the outdoors has only continued to grow through various activities including camping, hiking, hunting, and golfing, just to name a few.
Joel’s commitment to the bass fishing sport stems from his dedication while serving in the Army. Throughout his nine-year military career, Joel experienced two deployments to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom during 2003-2004 and 2009-2010. The military has taught Joel many life lessons that he carries with him throughout all of his endeavors. From following orders, to how to organize his workload, take responsibility, and be a great leader, Joel’s military career has been a critical factor both personally and professionally, and has made him come to realize how much it enriched and influenced his journey.
After the military, Joel started his career in the construction industry as a project foreman and then eventually accepted a position as a Facilities Service Manager at City Wide Maintenance. Although Joel enjoyed his time in the construction and service industry, his goal has always been to become a professional fisherman and now has decided to pursue his lifelong dream. Joel is excited to be part of The Sickness Outdoors and help their partners grow their brands while competing at the highest level of professional bass fishing.
